Hi all you lovely people,
As a reminder, there's an OpCom meeting tonight at 7 PM in Central Office. The agenda items are below. I'm being relaxed about agenda timing since it's the beginning of the semester and I'm not sure how much time these items will take right now. We'll stop at 9 PM, getting through what we can before then. Hopefully the newly elected Rochdale rep (Jabari) will be joining us.
(1) Introductions
You have up to 60 seconds. Say whatever you want, which could potentially include your name.
(2) Schedule update - Hava
-- I've secured the accessible Wilde living room for at least three meetings this semester, in order that Southside members can have more of a chance to participate in certain OpCom discussions. Hope to secure Rochdale for a few meetings too...
-- will show upcoming OpCom meetings and tentative board commitments to help plan out schedule
-- will discuss meeting time
(3) Format preference -- will ask the committee to decide if you prefer freeform conversation or formally facilitated. I'd like to use the former more for discussion items and the latter more for action items, but it's your call...
(4) Drug Policy Outreach Update - Duncan and Emma
(5) House-Level IT Update - Max K
Note: most of the decisions for this area are being made in Cabinet (assigned to-do items at last meeting) and ITCom (will make actual decisions in order to execute to-do items), but this is your chance to give Max feedback.
(6) Spring Contract change - Kim
(7) Manager Payroll Update - Max B
(8) House Operations Manual Update - Hava
Will show the current table of contents and see if you can think of anything that is missing...
(9) Termination Appeals - Hava
Will show possible work to do in this area and ask committee to prioritize it.
