Hi all,
I apologize for not sending this out sooner. Various other pressing BSC concerns have interfered with doing this particular responsibility in a timely matter. I can appreciate that there are a lot of passionate people in this organization who care about a lot of things.

So the gist of the meeting Monday is that we'll be reviewing three different policies that we've seen before: Conditional Contracts, Central Level PNG, and Meeting Minutes. I've allotted almost an hour to the three of these in total, and will send them out soon...(I know I said that before, this week has been kind of crazy with the board meeting and dealing with the aftermath...). I think it will be possible to sign each of these policies off tomorrow evening using the time we have to do final tweaking....and certainly if something isn't good, we won't rush it.

After that, the rest of the meeting will be a working meeting to create a working draft of a Substance Abuse Policy and Good Samaritan Policies. It's been difficult for me to provide guidance on creating these policies, because I'm not sure of the answers myself. It's a very tricky task, and kind of overwhelming. But I'm thinking if we hook a laptop up to the projector, and make it a group project, we can work through it together. We have the necessary background at this point in the semester.

OpCom Agenda 10/25
7:10 Introductions and Icebreaker
Icebreaker: What icebreaker would you like to see us do in the future? This can include no icebreaker.
7:20 General Status and Feedback Response
-- general status update on various projects
-- thanks for the feedback; I'll respond to it
7:30 Meeting Minutes Policy (Action Item)
7:40 Conditional Contract Policy (Action Item)
8:00 Central Level PNG (Action Item)
8:20 Substance Abuse Policy, working meeting
9:00 Good Samaritan Policy, working meeting
9:30 Optional Adjournment time.
However, anyone who wishes to stay to continue to work on these policies is welcome to.

To Max, Will, and Kim: So, I'm trumping meeting after the meeting for CK issues because of the pressure and time urgency to pump out Substance Abuse and GSP policies ASAP. Will and Max -- we'll touch base in regards to individual projects this week. I entirely understand there hasn't been a lot of time available :-).

That's all for now. See you tomorrow at 7:10 PM.

Cooperatively,
hava
