Hi,
As a reminder, the OpCom meeting next Monday will be held at Wilde (not CO) at 7:00 PM. Please try to be there no later than 7:10 PM!
As fair warning, the meeting on Monday will be on the longish side. I'm thinking three hours. I hope the last meeting was on the shorter side, to help make up for this. I'll stop at 10:20 regardless of whether all things are done by then. There are only two more committee meetings left, which is why this one is longer. To make up for the length, I'll provide several toys that people can play with while the meeting is taking place and food will be pre-arranged (via a separate e-mail, donations will be accepted but not required).
--> Action Item: termination appeal draft, version 2 (Max, Hava)
--> Action Item: VOC policy (which was already sent out - Max, Hava, Josh, Jan)
--> Action Item: Track A of Substance Abuse Policy -- I haven't seen this yet, but it was put together ideas to help members with S
--> Review: House Level Operations Manual (Hava) - we will review the current version of te House Level Operations Manual for form and function. Like when we reviewed this before, we'll split up the sections. I'll try to send this out in advance of the meeting.
--> Review: Conduct Committee evaluation process (Jabari, Hava) - we will review the process used to evaluate the Conduct Committee, including who will be interviewed, who will be surveyed, and what the questions will be.
In the works, may or may not be ready by Monday:
--> chicken policy draft (Emma)
--> party policy (Kim)
If time:
House level payroll discussion - ultimately, adjusting the payroll budget will be up to Ficom
However we can make recommendations to houses to put in the House Level Operations Manual, and make recommendations to FiCom as well. However, any policy changes wouldn't go into effect for at least a year.
