OpCom Meeting Agenda for 3/7

Please remember, we are meeting at Wilde, in the living room, which is at 2410 Warring St, March 7, at 7 PM. We won't have visitors for any of our conversations (that I know about), but members at Wilde may join us to see what the meeting is like and other interested members are always free to join us as always so who knows.

We will probably be taking a break between 8 PM and 9 PM sometime and spending about 15 minutes eating birthday cake and ice cream and creme brulee. Of course if you don't want any of this stuff you can chill or sleep or study either downstairs or in room 11, which is my private room.

This meeting will probably end around 10 given that it's better to get some of these issues worked out in the middle of the semester instead of waiting any later. My hope is that meetings later in the semester will be shorter.

--> Status Updates (Optional) -- anyone who would like to give an update on any project they are working on can.

--> GMM follow-up. I will talk about the proposed procedure for reviewing future substance abuse policy changes and Emma, Duncan, and others can weigh in.

--> Termination Appeal, draft (Max, Hava): this is a follow-up from the OpCom meeting two meetings ago, in which the goal was to clarify the theory and procedure for termination appeals at the board level.

--> Payroll Project, Part 1: standardizing VOCs (Max, Hava)
Note: the payroll project is Max's project this semester but I did some work on it last semester and over the break and am working behind the scenes to coordinate our efforts with the VPFA and VPIA
--> Payroll Project, Part 2: Disseminating information (Max, Hava)
--> Payroll Project, Part 3: how payroll is figured, discussing possible changes

--> Conduct Procedure draft (Hava, Jabari)

--> Conduct Committee Questions (everyone) - we will think up questions for select individuals in order to evaluate the Conduct Committee

There are a lot of things on the agenda but I know we can plough through them!

See you all tomorrow,
hava
