Add custom metrics from operator webhook ?

Hello,

Using Operator sdk and golang code, I already have implemented custom metrics in my  controller (enabling prometheus service in manifests) but I'm wondering if I can send custom metrics from my operator webhook to prometheus instance used in my controller (avoiding 2 prometheus instances, 1 for operator controller and another one for operator webhook). Any ideas ?
