[ANNOUNCEMENT] We are electing new chairs for the Operator Framework!

Hello! 

I'm writing to announce that we will be holding an election for new chairs of the Operator Framework CNCF project.

Nominations

The first step of the election will be to collect nominations. If you are interested in becoming a chair of the Operator Framework project, please review the role of Operator Framework chairs, and nominate yourself as a candidate if you feel you have the necessary expertise and bandwidth to perform the chair duties for the duration of your term.

In your nomination please provide a short (<500 words) statement to include your name, email, and qualifying experience. Please send nominations to jlan...@redhat.com with subject line "Operator Framework Chair Nomination". We will accept nominations until Friday, April 15, 2022 11:59:59 PM GMT.

Chair Eligibility

You must have been a member of the Operator Framework Google Group as of 21 days ago (Wednesday, March 2, 2022) to be eligible for nomination.

Existing chairs are eligible for re-election.

Election

The election will open on Monday April 25, 2022 and will close on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:59:59 PM GMT. We will use the Condorcet Internet Voting Service.

All eligible members of the Operator Framework Google Group will receive an email with voting instructions when the election opens.

In this election, we will elect seven new chairs to replace or re-elect the existing chairs.

Voting Eligibility

You must have been a member of the Operator Framework Google Group as of 21 days ago (Wednesday, March 2, 2022) to be eligible to vote.

Voting for the election of new Operator Framework chairs is now live! One ballot per member will
be accepted, and voting will close on or around Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:59:59 PM GMT.

All members of this group that joined on or before March 2, 2022 have been invited to vote in a
private poll at https://civs1.civs.us/. Please check your email for your ballot.

NOTE: If you didn't not receive an email with an invitation to vote, it means that you have not
registered your email address with the voting website. To receive your ballot, please activate the
 email address you used to join this group using this link: https://civs1.civs.us/cgi-bin/opt_in.pl

Once you activate your email address, you will be notified of your invitation to vote in this election.

Hello everyone!

We're into our last week of voting for the election of new Operator Framework chairs! Voting will
close on or around (but no earlier than) Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:59:59 PM GMT.

We're currently sitting just above 2% for voter turnout, so every vote counts! :)
