Greetings Support Team!

Well Friday is the last day and this will be the last time I will be
able to post from here. We leave about midnight Friday evening
arriving back in San Antonio Saturday evening at 2230. Recognizing
that we are 8 hours ahead here so that is Sunday Morning 0630 Kenya
time.

Today we got everyone packed up and made a couple of errand runs
including a trip to the local market for souvenirs. It was interesting
to see how every one who had not been in that situation reacted. It is
a lot of fun and there are some great deals to be had. Everyone filled
up on trinkets from small dolls to African Drums!! A boom, to the
local economy. Stopped at a shopping center for lunch (all other days
we have made lunches mostly peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to take
into the field) and everyone except Michael and I had Hamburgers and
fries or Pizza. Michael and I had some great Indian food.

We had our last get together this evening for the entire team as there
are a few who are staying on for some extra days. We will all be back
in Texas by the end of next week. Tomorrow the team goes to a school
that we have supplied with a large number of school books and to one
of the wells.

As I have said a number of times there were a lot of firsts on this
trip. We have accomplished a lot and have a much better understanding
on a number of fronts.

In Summary:

>>> 2 wells nearing completion will be operation in the very near
future all the necessary components etc. are in place

>>> Gained a lot of experience and have some good ideas to improve the performance and drilling productivity

>>> Started two new churches

>>> Trained 16 pastors and interpreters, they have a 10 week program for their churches to get them started.

>>> Over 100 saved

>>> Saved the life of baby Jullie >> doing AOK at last report still has rickets but her life is out of danger at this point from the Malaria

>>> Touched the life's of literally hundreds of people (adults, teenagers and children) in a positive way

>>> Multiple friendships created that will be life long adventure partners with a special bond

>>> Everyone on the team have grown personally, spiritually and in community

>>> Confirmed the commitment of the team members to "keep on keeping on", doing good and God's work!

This trip has been a blessing, full of Hope and Faith!

We will continue to provide updates to the Google Group site and
WWW.OperationH2O.org

Look for two postcards in the mail over the next few weeks it does
take some time for them to travel from here. They will be old news.

Thanks for your support and prayers and being part of the team.

Love and Bye for Now

Ken in Kenya
