cue while typing in a password form field if the form data will be submitted over a non-ssl connection

It would be helpful to get some sort of visual cue when you're typing a
password in a form field if the form data will be submitted over a
non-ssl connection. I know that you can hover over the submit button to
check the submit address, but that means you have to do this manually
every time to make sure.
