It would be helpful if you specified which bank this was, and a URL.
Also, have you asked the bank people about this? Don't forget to
mention that Opera supports all the standards they may need.

I didn't want to ask the bank until I was sure that Opera could handle
it. It is http://www.ibank.barclays.co.uk and also Marbles Credit Card
at http://www.mymarbles.co.uk/. Thganks

Also
http://www.Lloydstsb.co.uk Opera will access my account but then either
freezes or crashes Opera. The First-E bank states that it does not

I'm using Barclays Internet banking with Opera 3.62B6 (Build 3.62.0.320)
without problem (at least as far as I can see).
I enter at: https://ibank.barclays.co.uk/frameset/personal/index.html
and have all security protocols enabled in Opera (I don't think I set
this but I'm not sure why all three are enabled). I'm not aware that I
have set anything else.

PMFJI but I've been with them since they started online services.

I was one of those who had PC Banking (which was marvellous by
comparison), then fought their way through their browser-specific, Java-
laden online version and stayed with them up to their current HTML
version. And...

I have no problems w/ 3.62b6.

> Colin Brook said,

Just to add to that...

I enter at: https://ibank.barclays.co.uk/frameset/business/index.html
and all is well. Or I can enter at the http://www.ibank.barclays.co.uk/
screen and work my way in.

Hmmm... what settings would affect it? Let's look through the
Preferences... I'll only list the things I _think_ might have a
bearing on it.

Doc appearance:
I don't have a CSS stylesheet, but I do have:

[x] [x]
[x] [ ]
[x] [ ]
[ ] [ ]
[x]

checked in that part of the d/log box.

Advanced:

[x] Cookies & [x] Enable Referrer
[ ] Sync DNS
[ ] Identify as Moz 3

Multimedia:

[x] Enable Scripting
[x] Enable plugins
[x] Enable Frames

Security:

[x] SSL 2
[x] SSL 3
[x] TLS 1

(o)Password every time it's needed

CertsAuths:
Thwaites (Freemail, Basic, Premium, Server, Premium Server)
SSCA
TC TrustCentre 0, 1, 2, 3 & 4
Class 3 PubPrim
KMD-CA

Other than that... no idea.

Any help?

Any help ? I've emailed their support but get 'no help' replies

Yes, and smile.co.uk burble on about how you need to have Java enabled
and ActiveX enabled and AcceptAnyTrojan enabled and so on and so on.

Tough. That's just lost them a customer.

[later]

Seen PhilB's suggestion about caching?

Mine's set on 0 5 0, 1 0 0, 5 5 0

Phil - no it wasn't - so I set it to 'always', deleted all the cache,
went to the site and still got a 'summary' OK, but 'detailed' gave me the
seaside again (I have @guard definitely switched off as well!) :{

Any other good ideas ? - Martin

Martin,

I can't think of any other things that havn't been suggested,
as I don't live in the UK or use Barcleys I can't even try things out.
It is strange that other Barcleys users can do what your browser won't do???

My bank AIB [url=http://www.24hour-online.ie/] has a big sign on the front page
saying...
This site is best viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4+ or Netscape Navigator 4+
But it works fine with Opera. :-) I did email them suggesting they add that information,
but I see no change. :-(

Could you cut the code from the link that isn't doing what it should and post it here?
