Why is it that both 9.51 and 9.52 (on Windows 98SE)
display the following error message for
<http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/>?

Error!
Problem encountered while decoding data.
Possibly due to corrupted data.

You tried to access the address http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/,
which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the Web address
(URL) is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page.

* Make sure your Internet connection is active and check whether other
applications that rely on the same connection are working.

All other pages work fine, and the css-validator page works
fine in Firefox.

NOTE: Deleting the Opera's outbound "TE:" header causes the
server to drop the "deflate" encoding, after which
the page loads just fine.

I can't see anything wrong with the deflated contents
so I'm guessing this is some Opera quirk. I'll file
a bug report on monday or tuesday.

Test case:

Or not. I forgot to disable Proxomitron. Without that,
the page works fine. For now...

[Interestingly, the validator page works fine today,
but the stylesheet does not.]
