In MSWindows Opera jumps down the page at the relevant link when the
Javascript statement 'return true' is actioned on click.
In Linux (both Opera and Konqueror) the page loads the relevant link, but
the window is not repositioned at the link id. Why is that? The console
shows no errors when running the script. Firefox on the other hand works
fine both on MSWindows and Linux.
If I disable Javascript in Opera, the conventional html 'jump to' action
works as expected.
Is there anything I should add to the Javascript at the 'return true'
function for Linux Opera (and perhaps Konqueror)?
