How do you hide element contents but still display its borders/outline ?

You use Opera 9.01 with an outline attribute on a visible element, and
then hide the element. The outline lingers behind untill the next page
redraw. (That's a bug, though ;) )

You may want to try enveloping the element-to-hide into a transparant div
that shows the border and outline.
