I read various newsgroups with Opera from the NNTP news service my primary
ISP provides. Most commonly I want to retain only a few articles, and the
rest I delete after reading them. When I want to save an article, I right
click and do a "Label As" operation for whatever labels I have set up for
various general subjects. All is well, and I can go back to those messages
in the particular "Label" view.

A short time ago I marked two newsgroup articles as "Read" rather than
"Label"ed and went about my business. Now I cannot find them anywhere, not
even in Trash. If I mark an email as "Read" without particularly
"Label"ing it, at least it will show up in the Received view. I looked in
the O online help for newsgroups but could not find anything, unless I
missed it.

Does marking a newsgroup article (as distinguished from email) as "Read"
delete it completely? If not, is there a way I can find it again? Thanks.
