O 12.15 b1748 / Win32 XP Pro SP3

This may have been dealt with before, so please excuse me if it has and I
just don't remember the discussion.

http://www.gmail.com

I have a "throwaway" Gmail account that I use only rarely for a special
purpose. For the most part, I access it only with my Android smartphone,
but on even more rare occasions I try to access it from my desktop PC.
However, I cannot seem to do so with Opera. No matter what settings I use
to try to login, Gmail complains about cookies being turned off. In
general I do not allow cookie settings, allowing them only for certain
individual sites. For Gmail, I try back and forth with the cookie
settings, disallowing and reallowing, jiggering this way and that,
reloading time and again after fiddling with the cookie settings. No use.
Firefox (21.0), on the other hand, gets me logged in immediately with no
hassle whatever. Feedback? Thanks.

Works fine for me. I have the Site Preferences set to "Accept cookies only
from the site I visit" and "Delete new cookies when exiting Opera"; Under
'Content', I have "Enable Plug-ins" selected; everything is selected under
'Display'; in 'Scripting' I have selected "Enable Javascript", "Allow
moving an re-sizing of windows", and "Allow scripts to detect context menu
events". I also "Identify as Opera" and select "Encode international web
addresses with UTF-8" "Send referrer information" and "Enable automatic
redirection".
