Mouse gesture inside panels trigger a folders bug

I've switched to Mac at the beginning of 2008 and i since then i found
this bug, but never understood how to reproduce it .. until now.

It happens in all panels with folders which can be moved (so it happens in
Contact, Bookmarks and Notes, but not in Mail): select a folder with the
mouse, mouse gesture "right click + left", now try to select a different
folder: both of them are highlighted and the first is moved into the
second one. Click on a different folder and it happens again.
To "exit" you have to click on an empty area in the panel and it starts
working again.

I've looked for this bug newsgroups, but haven't found anything similar:
is it only in my system?

I've submitted a bug report DSK-249971

What i've found is that after i use the "collapse" mouse gesture, there is
a change in the way items are selected:

IN MAIL PANEL: usually an item (a view for example) is selected in the
DOWN part of the click, but after the gesture items are selected during
the UP part of the click (so when i release the button of the mouse). BUT,
Views cannot be moved in mail the panel so nothing important happens

WHILE IN BOOKMARKS panel: after the gesture i select a folder (call it A)
and i want to select another one (call it B): in the down part of the
click, both (A and B) are selected! And when i release the mouse button
(up part of the click) A is moved inside B!

I would really appreciate if anybody has this kind of behaviour and could
report it here.
