Blurry Speed Dial images.

What happened to the Speed Dial images in 10.60?

Under 10.54 I could read headlines on newspapers when displayed as Speed
Dial images, I find that very hard under 10.60 as they are very poorly
rendered.
Anything I can do myself to rectify this?
