Opera on a Mac; you know it makes sense!
Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/mail/

Opera allows you to save bookmarks on-line. But you can export and
import them as well. (I have the same bookmarks on my work Windows
machine as I have on my home Mac).
You might use another mail program and import your Opera mail - then
import it back when you reinstall Opera.
Make sure you back up anything you save off before you delete Opera.
Then it can't hurt to use a delete utility. Then you might as well
reinstall 10.53 first and test it before going back.

Just install Opera 10.10 release.
It uses the same mail settings, bookmarks, mail storage and everything as
10.53.
You should not have to do anything. It should work automatically.

I tried uninstal and reinstal but it still bombs out every time I use it
I think it's time to ditch 10.53 and find an alternative. It's a shame as
I have been very vocal about the benefits of Opera but they have stuffed
it up this time. I have never known a version of Opera to be unstable but
now I have never known 10.53 to be stable.
