Hi all,
I have a small issue ... some site screws up the mouse pointer. A big
example is Vimeo: http://vimeo.com/7283341. After a visit to vimeo, the
mouse pointer disappear when is moved over tab bar. This annoyance
happen to me on different linux debian platforms (stable and testing /
32 and 64 bits) and seems to be related to flash.

Does anybody encounter the same problem ?

Right now my system is the following:
Opera Version 10.10 Build 4742
Platform Linux System x86_64, 2.6.30-2-amd64
Qt library 3.3.8b
Java Java Runtime Environment installed
Browser identification
Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux x86_64; U; en) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.10

I see what you're seeing on that page. Keep track of whether or not there
is flash on the page. That seems to be the common denominator here.

was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea:

I see it on pages I can never pin it on (too many tabs open to work
out which one is responsible). I'm not about to test vimeo though,
since I don't want to lose my pointer yet!

Sometimes it spontaneously comes back too. From memory, it's not when
I `killall operapluginwrapper-native`.

I find it quite likely that it is possible to turn off the standard
cursor image in flash (i.e. turn off the cursor inside the flash
window). I wouldn't be the least surprised if some plug-ins will do
this to its parent window(s) as well. That's the sort of things
plug-ins tend to do.

Maybe sometimes flash will reset the cursor image over its window. Say
the flash applet sometimes wants to draw its own cursor so it removes
the system cursor, but sometimes it wants to use the standard cursor so
it turns it back on again.

This is how I reproduce the bug:
1. go to vimeo.com and start a video
2. change the current tab
3. change back to vimeo.com tab witch is still playing the video
Voila ! the pointer is gone.
Now try closing a tab, is really annoying :(
