I use Synergy to share my keyboard/mouse between my Linux workstation,
Mac, and PC. Occasionally, if I've been using Opera for a while my
Synergy connection will drop and I become unable to swap between
screens. This seems to be correlated with Flash pages, but it's hard
to reproduce. I think what's happening is that the Opera/plugin
connection steals the mouse and Synergy gets confused and drops the
connection, but I can't really tell exactly what's happening.

I see the same behavior, on my work computers with a synergy setup. It seems
to be a flash issue.
I haven't investigated what happens on the Synergy side, but Synergy sure
goes into a hard freeze, and needs a "kill -9".
