Hi,

I got reproached for visiting an untrusty site, because you do not have their
root certificate built in. I cross checked in FF and they have it. On what
grounds do you accept or reject CAs?

I had never looked into this list and found it to be surprisingly long. I had
always thought it's just a few heavyweights like VeriSign, and free ones like
CAcert. How do all their certificates get to you safely? Are they all
certified themselves?

coralament / best Grötens / liebe Grüße / best regards / elkorajn salutojn

See http://www.opera.com/docs/ca/ for information about requirements for CAs

Startcom has applied, but the evaluation process has not yet been completed.
