Hello,
Recently downloaded Opera 10, looks good.

I would like to change a few things though. Is it possible to "open a new
window in an existing window"? By this I mean I only want one instance at a
time and no windows remaining open in the background. Also can I ensure that
the "tabs" section of Opera is disabled as I never use "tabs"?

Also when entering a url in the address bar, underneath a "search the web
for" message appears, is their anyway to disable this too ?
Thanks.

You could try the settings suggested here
<http://operawiki.info/OperaSDI>.

I expect someone will have a suggestion - I don't.

Create a file called Opera6.ini in your windows\system32 directory.
This file must be read only and contain :

Opera Preferences version 2.0

[User Prefs]
Search Type=-1

The search type -1 stops the automatic search box.

Cheers,
