The View->Images setting only works with attached images, or embedded images
in HTML messages. It doesn't work on external images in HTML messages.
To view the images, you'll have to right-click on each image, then choose
"Reload image". Yes, one by one. Isn't that fun? >:-D
Opera does this in order to prevent HTML emails from phoning home without
user consent (which can be abused for many things).
