Opera isn't picking up https URLs for me. The box seems to be ticked
in prefs, what's the method of getting this working (XP SP2)?

What do you mean with 'picking up'? What Opera version?

Displaying a URL of the form https://<whatever> when said URL is
clicked in a mail message.

Hmm, that works here (Opera 8.5 and 9).

Yes I'm sure it should work here! No doubt I've disabled it
somewhere in the past, or some other convenient software has, what I
was wondering was - what are the settings/services that I need to
check?
