Opera mail locks up all of Opera when I try to shift-delete a spam eMail.
Latest Opera 12.15
Win 7 Pro with all updates.

I crash close [X] Opera then reopen and it still locks up with just this
one attempt to shift delete one particular eMail.
Other similar spam eMails delete OK.

Just clicking on the eMail also locks up Opera.

I will try arrowing down and then use the trash icon.

Locks up when I arrow to it.

I am in the Unread or Received area.
It is also in the Spam under All Messages.

Locks up when I try to delete it there.

There were a bunch of spam email in Trash when I right clicked Trash it
locked up.
I restarted and click on one of the other spam in Trash then ctrl-A and
the shift-delete. That worked but I still have the one really bad spam in
the Spam and UnRead and Received area that locks up Opera.

I do not have a ready answer, as I have had no such error with O
12.15/1748 Win32 XP Pro SP3. However, one question is whether you have
*opened* the spam email or are just trying to sh-del it from the mail list
pane? If you have already opened it, I speculate that there could be some
mischief in the message itself. If you have not opened it, I do not know
why you cannot trash it. Have you filed a crash report with Opera
Software? And after the crash, have you scanned your system for malware
just in case?

Crash report? I have in the past got a notification requesting I
report regarding other matters. But for this problem no such request
was made.
How to I initiate one?

When you say open the email what exactly does that mean?
If I click on the left header pane I see the eMail on the right. is
that considered opening?
If I doube click on the header pane I really open the email.
but any click on that header pane crashes or better said locks up
Opera. Opera goes gray and only the [x] is active.

I cannot examine the email. I have not tried to forward etc or
anything else.

Win 7 Pro shows this error
Where can I send it?

I get a bunch of spam with a lot of non-standard English characters
like an A with a mark on top. All but one email with this symbol can
be deleted.
