* fixed crash caused by faulty wml.css
* fixed bug 77984: "Content-Disposition Handling Broken"
* New fix for improved flash handling (bug # 77933).
I get black screen and 100 % CPU usage. version 1126 didn't handle them
correctly too, but it didn't steal CPU time.
It doesn't happen only withthis server, dowlading netbeans
www.netbeans.org looks exactly the same. Zip archives are handled correctly.
I use GetRight plug-in but it doesn't seem to be the cause.

Funny,
works just fine here (Win2k, SP2 with build 1129)....
Greetings,
-Axel-
Up to build 1126, in Windows Control panel,
"addition and delete of application" (sorry, I do not know how
to say it in English, because I use Japanese Windows),
there I saw Opera 6.04.
But now after the installing the build 1129, I found just "Opera"
with no letters followed there.
There may be no announcement of this changings.
Or I just missed Sue's posts ?

I see only "Opera" on "Add/Remove" in Windows' Control panel
and saw it on o6.04 build 1126 as well.
There was an error similar to this before.
I believe o6.04 final will come with "opera 6.04".

The issue of Opera leaving several entries in "Add/Remove Programs"
(without being able to actually remove a specific version) was indeed
discussed after the last beta, so I guess someone updated the
installer without it being put the changelog.

If I click on it I should get the save dialog & with the file being downloaded.
What I actualy get is the transfer progress (like loading a page), and at the end
the URL shows as the URL of the link instead of the URL of this mail mesage,
but the rendered content hasn't changed.
If I copy the URL to another window it does load correctly.
.
And if you look into your cache (Windows>Special>Cache), you'll see the exe
there. Clicking there link there works OK. That's not exactly how this should
work... This is an issue with Opera's newsclient.

Yep.

has been the same in 1107-1126, don't know if it was like this before
i think it's the same for all "links to .exe" in e-mails

What kind of crash?
Build 1129 has behaved well so far.
However, I found one "glitch" when trying to look at streamin windows media
at http://www.news.com/
Instead of getting the video embedded in a page, Windows Media player starts
up separately and some error messages appear.
Try it yourself,
Kenneth
What specific page is having that problem?

No SP-AM is good spam.
Well, choose any of the videos in the right column e.g. the one about the Blackberry computer) . Then choose Windows Media Player as the prefrerred player and any of the two bitrates.

I tried the one for browser wars. :) If I have video/x-ms-asf
set to use the plugin, then I get an error message that says
"javascript: URLs can only be associated with HTML documents" (or
something like that). The window that the video opened in Opera
doesn't display anything.
If I change video/x-ms-asf to open with the associated
application, WiMP reports "invalid or corrupt data" (or something like
that). I went into Opera's cache and found the .asf file, changed the
extension to .asx, and then the file played correctly in WiMP.
All my observations are using 1129 under Win2K with WiMP 7.1.
Javascript is enabled and I use "Determine actions by MIME type" (File
types preferences).
The problem is on your side. Opera works correct with Real Player und Win Media.

Well, I get the same behavior, but WiMP also opens, actually showing
the clip (with no sound here, but that is probably a local problem).

Confirmed.

Confirmed (though I have no idea what difference this makes).

The video works here as well (thought I mentioned that).

.asx files are shortcuts to .asf streams. WiMP is expecting a
stream because it's a .asf file, but gets a shortcut (.asx) instead.
After the install of build 1130, I have two "Opera" in the entries.

Windows 6.04 1130
Linux 6.02 Pre5 192
Tested with some of the discovery.com sites, which are Flashy enough
to have the potential to cause problems on my P100. I did get peaks,
and some plateaus, of 100% CPU usage, but it didn't go to 100% and
stay there.
At times, responses seemed to be a trifle slower when CPU usage was
high, but neither Opera nor Windows became sluggish. At one time, I
opened the System Monitor window and saw that half the line chart for
CPU usage was above 75%, but I hadn't noticed any problem during that
time. (Right-clicking on a Flash animation opened the menu quickly
enough for that to be useful.)
A possible problem is that I occasionally had trouble getting all the
Flash elements on a page to load.

For every stupidity, there is an equal and opposite stupidity.
Same here. Even when watching a chapter of the little Ninjai at
www.ninjai.com , there was no problem to write this with a P 90/98lite.
A short rightclick "open bookmark" of my testfolder showed, that there
are some "hangs" but this is not Operas fault because I've reached the
bandwidth of my connection. (15 connections to one server, 45 in total,
opening 30 pages at the same time)
2 other apps running at the same time I've got 87% CPU load in average
with some 100% peaks during this test.

Hmmm... If you've tried 1133, have you noticed any difference in
speed?
