I've taken Klaus-G Meyer's mbs2mbx, and modified it to allow
seperating messages for accounts by sent email, received email, and
sent news articles, and also seperating received news articles by
isp.

I've done this specifically to be able to use opera import's "send
file to sent" feature, and to be able to import newsgroup articles
under the correct news server account, although it should work with
any opera version since opera 7.

At present, all rss feeds go into the "unknown account" messages
file, allong with any email to/from an unknown account.

I have not tested this with imap accounts yet.

Please send any bug reports, or suggestions for improvements to
me, at dwhodgins at ody.ca

For those not familiar with the original mbs2mbx, it's a utility
to create .mbx files, from opera's .mbs files, which is very usefull
when trying to cleanup any database, or indexing corruption.

I'll forward a copy of this message to Klaus-G.

Thanks, Dave hodgins

Yes, in the unzip directory just enter "python mbs2mbs.pyw",
assuming you have python installed, of course.
Note, that I haven't tested this under windows.

I don't have Python (not being a programmer) but I can get it.

Thanks.
