So I know that I should edit the search.ini file in /usr/share/opera but I
don't know how should I edit the links to point to every language
available (I use almost all of them).
Thank you,
Miladin

Is this related to the beta version of Opera? The default search.ini in
both 9.2x and 9.5b2 contains entries that redirect translations via
Opera's servers, which should prevent problems with users having to change
links because services change their URL.
These URLs look like this:
URL=http://redir.opera.com/translation/?text=%s&from=en&to=fr

Looks like yahoo is in the process of rolling out messed up redirection
changes to babelfish.altavista.com, with a geographic component in deciding
where to redirect to, and possibly who to redirect.
When I saw your first article, I tried it, and like Rijk, it worked for me.
I didn't bother replying, as I then saw Rijk's reply.
Now I'm getting redirected to ca.babelfish.yahoo.com, and although the
text to be translated is still in the address bar, it no longer gets
put into the form, and auto translated.
Copy & pasting the text into the for works, although unlike altavista,
the text does not get put into the address bar.
Looks like it's time to find a different translator server, or figure
out how to correct for the changes yahoo made.
