We're proud to (belatedly) announce the release of Opera 9.00 for
Windows, Mac, Linux, Solaris, and FreeBSD. Opera 9.00 is a major leap
for the Opera desktop browser, a release more than a year in the
making. The release includes improvements to just about every corner
of Opera, from web standards to user interface to Opera Mail. We
recommend this update for all Opera users.

Windows users should note that there are two installers available: a
"classic" installer, which uses the same installation scheme as
previous releases, and an MSI installer. The MSI installer should be
used by those preferring Opera's user interface to be in a language
other than English.

Mac users should note that Opera 9.00 is a universal binary, allowing
it to run without Rosetta an Intel Macs.
