Dear friends of OpenXdata!

I want to thank all of you for your involvement in making and using OpenXdata.

It has been a great ride with lots of experiences, great people and organizations, big challenges, failures and successes!!!

Books could be written on the 10+ years of Open Source software development and collaboration!

My deepest appreciations to all of you! Thank you!

The past years there has been no joint activities or developments around OpenXdata and we have a fairly large infrastructure that is getting old and outdated.

The conclusion from a round of clarifications with key developers and persons behind OpenXdata is that

the time has come to retire and archive the OpenXdata project.

The sources, documentation and relevant data will be made available through free cloud services like github, wordpress and others.
The archiving process will start in 2 weeks medio May and you will receive links once completed.
Let me know if you can spare some time to help out!

I’ll end this mail with a memorable picture from the official launch of OpenXdata on 12th of November 2009!

With that I wish everybody all the best with your life, work and activities!

Thank you all for the OpenXdata ride and experiences!

Best regards
Jørn Klungsøyr
