I have experienced with designing micaz-like mote and running TinyOS
on it successfully.
I'm insteresting in porting new platform. And there is piece of paper
about porting tinyos on Atmel's ARM7 written by Institute of
Automation Chinese Academy of Sciences.

i'm very glad to know that. let's discuss this problem after 3.31
(busy this week).
and as a doctor candidate, i think your work should be systematic.
sometimes you must decide what to do and what not to do. so think
carefully about the task.
i hope you can integrate your contributions as part of your thesis
project. so we both can be benefit from the community.

ps:
a lot of micaz-like nodes developed by china universities choose Atmel
Atmega128L as the main processor. the architecture between Atmega and
ARM7 is quite different. so it's not easy to do such porting.
and the tinyos 2.0 released last year is quite different from tinyos
1.0. one of the main improvement is portability. so i think porting
2.0 should be more easy.
