I really like the website guys, congratulations - huge improvement. As requested I have some suggestions:1. I think the green banner (The one containing the title of each page) is far too thick, especially considering there is a top navigation bar - on my 15" laptop on Chrome more than half the screen is taken up by the "who are you" banner for example, I would make the top and bottom margins much smaller and make the font smaller also. Similarly, on the "Projects" Section on my laptop it's not obvious that the text continues because it doesn't appear on my screen. Generally the website appears better on a zoom level of 75%. - I would go for a top banner the same thickness as the OSB website here http://opensourcebrain.org/projects
2. The main body text is also sometimes too large. On the "projects" site here http://www.openworm.org/projects.html it's great but here http://www.openworm.org/get_involved.html for instance it's a bit too big.
3. The blog is something I really like - you could give it some more prominence?
Oops, after reading Jim's email I only just realised the home page wasn't a splash screen!
Yeah, new website is looking really good!
I would agree with Mike on the green banner though. I have looked at it on a 1920p desktop monitor and a 2560x1600 tablet. The green banner on the home page takes up half the screen on the desktop monitor and virtually the whole screen on the tablet so that it looks like there is nothing to scroll down to. Kind of like when Apple hid their apology to Samsung ;-) On the other pages the size isn't that bad, could you keep it the same as those?
On the home page where you have Source Code, Current Progress and Roadmap, the first thing I tried to do was click on the pretty icons - would be nice if the were hyper-linked.
Cheers
Jim
