Current status of Development

Hi,

I am looking at maybe using openWMS for an actual warehouse project.

What is the current status of development of the WMS module? I can't seem to find anything committed on BitBucket.

Hi Ario,

the WMS module is still in incubation and therefor hosted in a private Bitbucket repo. As soon as the domain model and cross-cutting services are ready for GA we will release that module too.

Hi, I am trying to run openWMS as an demo for a warehouse project. However, I can't download sprintSource dmServer anymore. Any update for openWMS?

Hi,

so what error do you get during compilation? I've updated some pom files in the last days to exclude the Flex client GUI from the build. Probably this resolves the issue you have.

For development there is no special IDE needed. you can rather use Eclipse of IntelliJ or something else. The OpenWMS IDE is only needed in case you want to push code changes to the bitbucket repository.

But if you want to download the IDE here are the login credentials for the site http://openwms.org/development/downloadIde.html

user: flogy

password: followme

Please notice, that some sites in the development area are outdated and have to be removed. The wiki has been moved to Atlassian: https://openwms.atlassian.net/wiki/
