Openwisp2 server related : reg

Hii team,

              I have question, How many devices or routers can connect one public server with following requirements:

·         CPU – 4 CPUs

·         RAM – 8 GB Memory

·         HDD –  500 GB.

·         OS – Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

I have taken a public server from the digital ocean, I wanted to know the stability/performance of the server, so how many routers can stably connect and use it only for the Openwisp-Monitoring module.

I have seen different VMs with the same resources on different cloud systems used in different use cases handling very different numbers, but at least 500, a lot more if the system and auto scaling settings are tuned properly.
