Redis-server memory utilization: reg

Dear team members,

                                   I have an issue with redis-cache memory, I have connected few devices in the openwisp2 server and it has 8GB memory[RAM] and 500GB harddisk. The redis-server is utilizing all the memory of it. So I am not able to use the openwisp2 server until and unless restart all the services running. If I check the memory utilization of redi-server using htop command it shows more than 80% of Memory utilization. How can I avoid it and make openwisp2 instances run smoothly. Due to this reason I am not able to login to the openwisp2 server. And How many devices I can connect with above specifications with monitoring & firmware upgrade modules.
