You don’t need necessarily to be a programmer in order to help out.

An apparently insignificant action can have a very positive impact on the project and in this page we’ll explain why it’s in your interest to help the project grow.

Keep reading help us to grow.

Hello, that could be created a space on github for us to post a brief description on how we've been using openwisp (use cases) if github allows that.

Hi Enrique,

We could do that but if we published this on the openwisp website it would look like auto promotion and not as good as other people independently publishing their own opinion on their own channels.

if you don't have a blog, you could use https://medium.com, is a great platform.

One thing I had trouble with going through the tutorial is understanding what the prerequisites are for the OpenWISP server. For example, if I plan to install OpenWISP on a Debian Linux variant, are there any packages I should pre-install prior to running the Ansible playbook? Are there any configuration steps I should perform on the server prior to running the playbook to ensure a clean install?

Hardware recommendations might be helpful too.

Hi Eric,

it shouldn't be required to pre-install anything on the server, unless something is missing (which would be a bug of the ansible-openwisp2 role).

We can make this as well as hardware requirements more clear in the docs, I noted this down here: https://github.com/openwisp/ansible-openwisp2/issues/102

Thanks for your feedback

Start from here: http://openwisp.io/docs/developer/contributing.html#look-for-open-issues

You can ask more questions in the chat if you want.
