I've just released version 0.6.2 of ansible-openwisp2, which contains the patch sent by Ritwick DSouza.

Thanks a lot to Xavier for his early report and to Ritwick for his work.

I've tested the role on a fresh Ubuntu 14 lxc and a fresh Debian 9 VM.
