OpenWISP Development Sprint February 11, 2022

Hi everyone,

As many of you should know, we are working steadily toward the next major release of OpenWISP, which will bring many improvements and new features.

However, there are still some roadblocks which have to be cleared out before we can proceed with the release and we want to encourage everyone to participate actively in working on the priorities for the next release.

For this reason we have organized an online and geographically distributed sprint which will last from the 11th of February 2022 until the 18th of February 2022, in which every day except Sunday 13th we will be available in  an open conference call room on Jitsi while we'll be actively working on the release.

The goal of the open room is to facilitate the communication between contributors who are working on the priorities for the next release.

In order to explain more details about the initiative and get new contributors up to speed faster, we have organized a Kickoff meetup for Friday 11th of February 2022, please subscribe and add the event to your calendar!

I believe the live review process can be very helpful for new comers who need to understand the steps they can follow to get their PRs merged faster.
