Device groups

Hi all.

I'm new here and have installed docker-openwisp locally to test.I'm trying to learn how this works and currently is difficult for me locate documentation of the different parts.

If there any way to group multiple devices?

Suppose I have 100 routers, 50 in one building and 50 in other building. Can i make two groups, and this way be able to change, for example, the SSID of one building? Maybe this can be done differently, but i don't know how.

Hi,

There is a feature of configuration templates in OpenWISP. You could create a template and attach it to your devices and they'll all inherit the configuration of the template.

You're right, documentation is fragmented and is an ongoing effort. 

Other than the documentation website you can also look at the README or documentation of each module you use or ask here.

You can prepare one template for one group and another template for another group.
