Updates on GSOC'26 project - add more timeseriesDB

This thread will be used to track the progress of the GSoC 2026 project, Add more TSDB in OpenWisp monitoring
[June 15 - June 19]

List of Tasks I have worked on:

• Worked on CI integration, polishing the tests and making changes in existing tests so they are influxDB2 compatible.
• Worked on fixing the broker queries as said by the mentors.
• Worked on adding ABC class for both time series databases. The work on this is in progress.

Tasks I will be working on next week

• completed the addition of ABC and adjusting the test cases accordingly.
• Polish the code for influxDB so it is ready to review by mentors

[June 22 - June 26]

List of Tasks I have worked on:

• working on adding a BaseTimeseriesClient ABC, moving both influxdb and influxdb2 to implement the same validated backend interface, changed the tests accordingly.
• Fixed the aggregate chart query in influxDB2 which was causing the inconsistent gaps in bars on ping charts.

Tasks I will be working on next week

• Review the code with help of coderabbit.
• Review the old Elasticsearch TSDB PR and plan the implementation.
• Address the comments and feedback on influxdb2 by mentors (if any)
