Hi everyone,

in order to promote our work and allow potential users to find it, in the past years we have been doing the following:

- at the end of the program, each student writes a blog post with a summary of their work, describing not only their experience during GSoC but also explaining the features they've been building, providing examples and links to the produced documentation to help potential readers understand if they can use this work. You can find some of these blog post collected in this page: https://openwisp.io/docs/general/press.html#google-summer-of-code-blog-posts

- whenever an interesting feature is completed, I encourage contributors, students and anyone, to share the news on social media (eg: Twitter, LinkedIn), which we repost using the OpenWISP account, the posts should include a brief description and a screenshot or an animated gif.
This practice has 2 positive outcomes:
1. the contributor starts to be recognized publicly

I would like to see similar content being created by every student and contributor working on any meaningful feature because it really helps out to communicate the huge work we're doing.

Please keep it in mind, I will be coming back to this in the following weeks.

Best regards
Federico
