[Weekly Progress Report GSoC 2026] Add more TSDB in openwisp-monitoring

Hello everyone,

This thread will be used to track the progress of the GSoC 2026 project, Add more TSDB to OpenWisp-monitoring

[June 8 - June 12]

List of Tasks I have worked on :

• worked on fixing chart/dashboard queries, now all the charts render perfectly with influxDB2
• implemented short retention policy for influxDB2 through creating a new bucket.
• Did manual testing by setting up. openwrt inside docker and running monitoring server locally, everything worked fine while testing

Tasks I will be working on next week:

• improve the code quality by introducing ABC and other suggestions by maintainers.
• address the maintainer's comments and suggestions after they do manual testing for influxDB2
