For best results, do this also in opencode/claudecode/copilot by giving the agent access to the full repository you're working on, allowing it to see the entire codebase and provide better suggestions.

Don't blindly follow the suggestions as they may hallucinate.

Use this to iterate on your proposal. Don't count on mentors being able to do this for you as we're literally being flooded and can hardly keep up.

Apply these suggestions to everything you do (use different AI tools to review your work, filter out AI slop from valid suggestions) and you'll perform better than most people who are flooding us with garbage.

Keep in mind there's a Github Discussions thread for each GSoC idea where you can ask specific questions and clarifications.

I've seen too many people blindly use the AI without verifying anything and overloading us with garbage.
