Next #OpenWebTO Meeting on August 30th

Hey Folks,

We *almost* took August off, but decided to organize something for the
second last day of the month.

For this months meetup, the talented James Walker will present an
in-depth tour of the Salmon Protocol. If you haven't heard of Salmon
before, it's a protocol developed primarily by John Panzer at Google and
seeks to solve the problem of fragmented comments / ratings / etc on
syndicated content. It's also an integral part of OStatus and is used
for cross-server status updating by implementers like StatusNet.
Needless to say, it's pretty cool stuff!

We're in the Alterna boardroom, 4th floor of the Centre for Social
Innovation on August 30th. We'll get started at 7pm. Sign up on
