Hi everyone,

International Open Access Week begins Monday October 25, and several events here at Virginia Tech  are listed below, as well as on the attached flyer.  The featured event this year is the Open Access Forum on Monday evening, which will focus on Virginia Tech's new open access policy.  After a short presentation, panelists Peter Suber of Harvard University and members of the Open Access Policy Working Group will take questions.  Following the policy discussion will be brief introductions to open data and open educational resources.  PDN credit is available for faculty for all events.  Please forward to colleges, departments, and other faculty groups!
