International
Open Access Week begins Monday October 25, and several events here at
Virginia Tech are listed below, as well as on the attached flyer. The
featured event this year is the Open Access Forum on Monday evening,
which will focus on Virginia Tech's new
open access policy.
After a short presentation, panelists Peter Suber of Harvard University
and members of the Open Access Policy Working Group will take
questions. Following the policy discussion will be brief introductions
to open data and open educational resources. PDN credit is available
for faculty for all events. Please forward to colleges, departments,
and other faculty groups!
