Dear Colleagues,

[readable version without most links - see version below for links]
Do you have ideas for development of new open educational resource (OER)* in topics/disciplines that would benefit a large number of students and institutions in Virginia Higher Education?
*Open Educational Resources are freely available and released under a license that allows adaptation. They can be in any format.

VIVA – Virginia's Library Consortium has announced a multi-institutional "Open Rapid Publishing Program". They are looking to identify gaps in usable OER for Virginia higher education for 1-year, rapid publishing projects.

Now is your opportunity to suggest areas for consideration by VIVA's Open and Affordable Course Content Committee on which I serve. Please share some good options from which we can consider!

VIVA will proceed to build at least one multi-institutional team to work on developing new OER in a target area in the coming year. Projects in the VIVA Open Rapid Publishing Program are eligible for an award of $50,000-$100,000 to support their efforts.

Please submit your ideas here before May 24th: https://forms.gle/b4vZ2oULcBBMV98N6

Thanks,
Anita
