The Open Knowledge Committee of the University Libraries at Virginia Tech warmly welcomes your participation in six events hosted at Virginia Tech in celebration of open education week (March 2-6, 2026). 

In addition, hundreds of Open Education Week events are hosted internationally -- many of them online for your exploration. 

Join educators from around the world in exploring the student-success oriented practices, values, and instructor, cultural, and programmatic practices that comprise open education. What is open education?
