Join us for lightning rounds of presentations, small group discussions, and expert panels.

The series will continue into the Spring Semester with dates TBA.
A recent survey from OVAC to the Virginia higher education community found that these general topics were of particular interest:
Sharing current best open practices for faculty, administrators, librarians, instructional designers
Identifying how open initiatives can improve Virginia higher education experiences
Valuing the broad spectrum of open education (open access, open data, open educational resources)
Highlighting open resources created in Virginia
Role of open practices in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion

The SCHEV Open Virginia Advisory Committee (OVAC) is seeking presenters for brief 5 minute lightning round talks for a 2020/21 Virtual Event Series on Open Education: Student Success & Faculty Autonomy in Higher Education.
