Hello Virginia’s open education community!
Please save the date of October 14, 2022 for this year’s Open and Affordable Community Forum. The event will be hybrid, with the in-person conference to be held at VCU’s campus. More information about the day and registration coming shortly!
This year’s theme “One Size Doesn’t Fit All,” seeks to open conversations about the diverse ways that Open Education Initiatives can meet the needs of students, instructors, and pedagogical goals. To that end, the Planning Committee invites session proposals for workshops, panels, and presentations that consider the many different ways that open education meets a wide variety of needs, from support of different disciplines, student populations, pedagogical approaches, and educational goals beyond cost. All sessions will be 45 minutes long, and should allow time for questions and discussion with the audience. The full CFP and proposal submission choices can be found here: https://forms.gle/xtmmFeAnesidhtXK8
We look forward to gathering and learning with you this fall!
