I want to connect OpenVSP/VSPAERO with MATLAB/Simulink Aerospace Toolbox.

MATLAB/Simulink Aerospace Toolbox uses FlightGear for flight simulator. And FlightGear only accepts DATCOM data.

So, I want to convert an OpenVSP file (.vsp3 file) to DATCOM data.

Is there any way to convert an OpenVSP file (.vsp3 file) to DATCOM data?

I don't believe anyone has written one yet.

You could also use VSPAERO to calculate the required stability derivatives and then write them out in a FlightGear format.

There are no updates.  I suspect that anyone running into this issue has already followed Rob's guidance to obtain derivatives and other parameters from OpenVSP/VSPAERO and converts them to FlightGear format.  If you persist with the path defined above, requiring DATCOM format to load into MATLAB, then I suspect you'll have to work on a combination of OpenVSP API, VSPAERO, etc. to determine the information you need and convert it.  AI code assistants will likely help tremendously.
