I was wondering how AOA is defined in VSP, is it the angle between the free stream and the X axis or something different?

I am running a VLM analysis on the HSTAB of a transport category jet and using VLM to evaluate the effect of elevator deflection. The analysis is being done at a Re of 22.7M and Mach 0.23 (Sea level ISA). The max CL AOAs results seem very high for a transonic airfoil. Since the airfoil is inverted the negative AOAs would be the same as the upright case. Any insight is appreciated!

The Graphs are CD vs Alpha, CL vs Alpha, and L/D vs Alpha. I was having trouble getting the titles next to the images
